*edit*
has anyone ever used a product called Certan for Wax Moths? It is a brand name of Bacillus Thuringiensis.
*scratch that*
What I assumed was a problem with SHB ( there were quite a few the day before yesterday ), actually turned into a worse problem: Wax Moths. The hive has been wiped out by them, the queen is dead, etc... . There may be 30 bees left, I have spent several hours today trying to clean it up. I am trying to reach a few local beekeepers for any help.
Hi, I am having a serious problem with Small Hive Beetles. I am looking for a more natural solution to it. I have been told if you use diatomaceous earth, it may help. I have also heard using some sort of food grade oil in certain areas of the hive would work too. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
